Miramax has appointed Jonathan Glickman as its new CEO, effective immediately. The global studio has also acquired certain film, television and other projects from Panoramic Media, the independent film and television production company Glickman founded in 2020.

At Panoramic Media, Glickman produced the films "Creed 3" and "The Underdogs" and was executive producer of the Emmy-nominated Netflix hit "Wednesday". He is currently executive producer of the Netflix series "Zero Day" starring Robert De Niro and Angela Bassett.

"With its world-renowned library and the collective desire of its shareholders to produce both IP-based and original projects, Miramax is uniquely positioned to be the leading independent film and television studio for years to come," Glickman said in a statement. "I can't wait to join the dedicated team at Miramax, along with my partners at beIN and Paramount Global, and continue this company's tradition of creating unforgettable stories for film, television and beyond."
