Passion Pictures has appointed Caroline Audebert as the new Managing Director of Passion Paris as the company celebrates its 20th anniversary. Audebert will lead the studio's expansion, including the opening of a new creative studio on Quai de Jemmapes, dedicated to 2D series as well as 3D and stop-motion productions.

Passion Paris is currently producing several projects, including the animated short film "Moonlit Bamboo Forest", "Apocalypse Mojito" and "LEGO Friends" season 4. Audebert brings extensive experience in the animation industry, including previous positions at Ellipse Animation and Disney.

She takes over from Marc Bodin-Joyeux, who will remain for a transitional period and is optimistic about Audebert's creative leadership. Andrew Ruhemann, founder of Passion Pictures, emphasises the importance of the studio in France and its role in the European animation landscape. Audebert sees a promising future for Passion Paris and plans to bring in new ideas and strengthen existing relationships.
