Filming starts for two new films in the successful series "Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr"
The popular ARD hit series "Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr" is going into the next round. Bavaria Fiction has started filming two more episodes of the popular "Endlich Freitag im Ersten" series in Berlin and the surrounding area. Filming will continue until 27 June.
Uwe Ochsenknecht, Aram Arami and Marc Oliver Schulze return in their roles as rubbish collectors. They are supported by a permanent ensemble, which also includes Adelheid Kleineidam, Rainer Strecker, Martin Glade, Frank Kessler and Laura Louisa Garde. Hannah Schiller, Laurids Schürmann, Birte Hanusrichter, Jürgen Haug, Eva Weißenborn and Patrick Güldenberg, among others, can be seen in various episodic roles.
For the two new films, Gernot Gricksch has written the screenplay for the 13th episode entitled "Generations" (AT), while Silja Clemens has written the script for the 14th film "Miese Abzocke" (AT). Both 90-minute films will be directed by Christiane Balthasar, with Hannes Hubach as visual designer.
In "Generations", Werner's job is jeopardised by a police report. Together with his colleagues, he does everything he can to prevent the closure of an autonomous youth centre. In the second film, "Miese Abzocke", the city cleaning service not only fights against illegally disposed bulky waste on Berlin's streets, but also tracks down a gang that uses this problem to defraud unsuspecting people.
Doris Zander, producer and creator of the series, is delighted about the continuation: "Our series combines humour with socially relevant topics - entertaining, but with substance. I'm particularly pleased that we can continue working with a great team in front of and behind the camera. Captain Träsch, our neighbourhood original with a heart, played by Uwe Ochsenknecht, remains true to his unwavering fight against injustice in these new episodes."
"Die Drei von der Müllabfuhr" is a Bavaria Fiction production commissioned by ARD Degeto Film for the programme "Endlich Freitag im Ersten". The producer and creator of the series is Doris Zander, the producer is Hannah Liebrenz and the editor is Barbara Süßmann. The exact broadcast dates for the new episodes have not yet been set.
