The German Children's Media Foundation Goldener Spatz has appointed Johanna Faltinat as the new Head of the Specialist Forum. The dramaturge, who has been working in the field of children's and youth media for many years and is particularly committed to diversity-conscious storytelling, is thus taking on a central position within the festival.

The specialist forum is an important meeting point for the industry and brings together panels, workshops and pitches. With Faltinat, the festival aims to further develop its content and strengthen dialogue within the industry.

Faltinat is active in various roles in the children's media scene, including as co-founder of the "Office for Diverse Storytelling" and as a board member of the German Children's Film Association.

The festival will announce the specific focal points it will set for the upcoming expert forum in the coming months.
