Christian Ulmen no longer holds a stake in the production company Pyjama Pictures. The 22.5 per cent stake he previously held has been transferred to Seven. One Studios. As a result, the ProSiebenSat.1 Group’s production company now holds a 77.5 per cent stake in Pyjama Pictures. The remaining 22.5 per cent are held by Carsten & Kelber Television GmbH.
The change in the shareholder structure is evident from the list of shareholders of Pyjama Pictures GmbH filed with the Charlottenburg Local Court. Ulmen is no longer listed as a shareholder on this list. The company is registered under HRB 211870 B.
Pyjama Pictures was founded in 2019 by Ulmen together with producer Sebastian Colley. The company’s productions include, amongst others, the comedy series „Jerks.“, which was initially broadcast on ProSieben and later on Joyn, as well as other fictional and non-fictional programmes.
Back in the spring, Pyjama Pictures had announced that it was holding talks regarding the return of Ulmen’s shares in the company. This followed allegations made public by his former wife, Collien Fernandes. Ulmen had denied the allegations. Regardless of this, he had not been managing director of Pyjama Pictures since 2023.
Now that the transfer of shares has been completed, Ulmen no longer holds any stake in the production company under company law. Operational and strategic control therefore lies predominantly with Seven. One Studios.
