Kim (10) is growing up in Hanover as the daughter of a Nepalese father. When Kim's father unexpectedly falls into a coma, a talking mask gives her a whimsical task. Kim must find and heal the wounded thunder dragon. Of all things, Kim's stepmother, overwhelmed with the sole responsibility, sends Kim with her big sister Tandin (15) to a Catholic convent in Osnabrück. But there the magic continues: to help the ever-weakening dragon, Kim must find the Flower of Memories - painfully realize that this is the only way to say goodbye to her father and reconcile with him.
