\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>

Potsdam, 9 February 2024.<\/strong> UFA, the leading production company for TV, cinema and streaming in German-speaking countries and part of Fremantle's international network, is reorganising its management. Natalie Clausen will become the new Chief Operating Officer of the UFA Group and a member of the Management Board on 19 February 2024. The internationally experienced TV manager comes from the streaming service Netflix, where she was most recently responsible for productions such as THE EMPRESS, KLEO and LIEBESKIND as Senior Production Manager in German-speaking countries. She previously worked as a production manager and line producer for internationally successful productions such as BABYLON BERLIN and at UFA for CHARIT\u00c9 and DEUTSCHLAND89, among others. In her newly created role, Natalie Clausen reports to CEO Sascha Schwingel.<\/p>

As part of the reorganisation, Joachim Kosack is leaving the management of the UFA Group and, together with Markus Brunnemann, will focus on the management of the UFA Serial Drama division (including GZSZ, UNTER UNS, ALLES WAS Z\u00c4HLT). There are also changes at UFA Documentary (including ICH BIN! MARGOT FRIEDL\u00c4NDER, ALL OR NOTHING, EXPEDITION ARCTIC 2 - DIVING TRIP TO THE NORTH POLE). Gwendolin Szyszkowitz-Schwingel has decided to continue her career outside UFA. She is resigning from her position as managing director of UFA Documentary at the end of the month. The decision is at her own request, in the interests of the company and by mutual agreement. In future, UFA Documentary will be managed by Marc Lepetit, who has been co-managing director to date.<\/p>

Sascha Schwingel<\/strong>CEO of UFA since September 2023, comments on the changes: \"I am delighted to have gained such an experienced and passionate manager for UFA in Natalie Clausen, who has an excellent network in our industry. Appreciated by talents, she has proven her outstanding expertise at an internationally successful streaming service as well as at UFA itself. With her outside perspective, she will provide valuable impetus to create even more room for creativity in a flexible, lean organisation and with the clever use of technology. I am very much looking forward to working with Natalie and wish her every success in her new role.<\/p>

At the same time, I would like to expressly thank Joachim for his many years of successful work on the UFA management board and am delighted that he is now concentrating his extensive expertise on UFA Serial Drama. This puts us in an excellent position for the further development of our important long-running daily series. I would also like to thank Gwendolin for building up UFA Documentary and realising outstanding productions such as MYTHOS JUNGFERNH\u00c4UTCHEN and JUNG, WILD, GRENZENLOS. I wish her all the best for her professional future.\"<\/p>
