Co-Managing Director Reinhard Hild will take over the overall management of the company for the time being.<\/p><p>\"Uwe Gei\u00dfler was instrumental in building up MDR Media - then still DREFA Media Holding GmbH - and developing it further in the interests of MDR. Under his leadership, the company has established itself as a reliable and innovative partner for MDR and an important player in the regional and national media industry,\" said Ralf Ludwig, Director General of MDR and shareholder of MDR Media GmbH, in recognition of Uwe Gei\u00dfler's achievements.<\/p><p>The future management will be supported by a strengthened team of authorised signatories: In addition to Barbara Ottow (Strategy and Principles) and Dirk Kretzschmar (Investment Management), Andr\u00e9 Hoffmann will take over the focus on advertising marketing from 2025.
