Nine filmmakers have already presented earlier works at the Berlinale.<\/p>
\"We are very proud of the films in this year's Competition<\/i>. They show the whole range of cinema and offer fascinating insights into different lives and places. There are intimate dramas that ask us to understand our human weaknesses and strengths; there are gentle comedies, but also the sharpest, blackest satires; there are films that pay homage to film greats and those that fully exploit the art form. Each of these unique works showcases filmmakers at the height of their craft.
