Paramount Pictures has concluded an important financing agreement with the private investment company Domain Capital Group. This agreement stipulates that Domain Capital will co-finance at least 30 films, including upcoming films such as The Smurfs Movie<\/em>the reboot of The Naked Gun<\/em>and The Running Man<\/em> with Glen Powell and the action thriller Novocaine<\/em> with Jack Quaid. The films produced under the deal cover a wide range of genres and budgets. The contract can be extended to a total of 40 films under certain conditions.<\/p>

Domain Capital Group is an Atlanta-based company led by managing director Pete Chiappetta. The company has worked with Paramount in the past, including on the productions of Gladiator II<\/em>, Sonic the Hedgehog 3<\/em> and Better Man<\/em>. Domain Capital Group has also launched a partnership with Warner Bros. Motion Picture Group in 2023, which is expected to capitalise on the success of Barbie<\/em> one of the biggest hits of the year.<\/p>

Domain Capital has launched a dedicated $700 million fund for entertainment and media investments in 2022. The current agreement with Paramount Pictures comes at a time when Skydance, led by David Ellison, and Gerry Cardinale's RedBird Capital are in the process of taking control of Paramount Global.<\/p>

Pete Chiappetta, CEO of Domain Capital, said in a statement that he was excited about the partnership and emphasised the importance of working with Paramount to produce high-quality films that will further enhance the value of Domain Capital's film portfolio.<\/p>

Courtney Armstrong, Chief Operating Officer of Paramount Pictures, also expressed her delight, stating that Paramount is \"thrilled to be working with Domain to deliver world-class entertainment to a global audience.\" Both parties look forward to a long-term and successful partnership.<\/p>
