Cypress, California, 25 March 2025<\/em> - Christie\u00ae has announced the appointment of Hideaki Takizawa as the new Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Christie Digital Systems, Inc. and its subsidiaries. Takizawa will assume his new position effective 1 April 2025 and will report directly to Michael Phipps, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, he will align Christie's financial strategy with corporate objectives and manage internal controls and reporting to support continued growth and innovation.<\/p>

Takizawa succeeds Michael Phipps, who took over the position of President and COO in November 2024 while continuing to serve as CFO. With this appointment, Christie further strengthens its leadership team and sets the course for a successful future.<\/p>

With more than 34 years of experience at Ushio, Takizawa brings extensive expertise in business management and finance. \"We are delighted to welcome Hideaki to our team. His leadership and financial expertise will be invaluable as we execute our strategic vision and strive for long-term success,\" said Michael Phipps, president and COO of Christie. \"With him, we will strengthen our presence in the industry, intensify customer relationships and develop innovative AV solutions.\"<\/p>

Before joining Christie, Mr Takizawa was General Manager of the Business Management Division of the Ushio Group. There he was in charge of the accounting, finance and legal departments. In this role, he played a key role in strengthening Ushio Group's corporate governance and financial strategy as part of the 2030 growth strategy and helped optimise capital efficiency.<\/p>
