Constantin Film Produktion is reorganising at the top: With immediate effect, Laura Machutta will head Head of Production and Managing Director the production department of the long-established Munich film studio. She succeeds Tim Greve, who is leaving the company at his own request.

Chief Executive Officer Oliver Berben praises Machutta as the ideal candidate for the position: she combines a precise eye for detail with a sure instinct for creative talent and is characterised by her ability to inspire and bring teams together. "With her passion, openness and clarity, she will have a decisive influence on our productions in the coming years," said Berben. He thanked Tim Greve for his dedicated work over the past few years.

Machutta himself is looking forward to the new task: "Together with our colleagues, we want to realise the best films and series and further develop the company's vision."

The new managing director has extensive experience. Born in Freiburg, she studied media design in Weimar, film studies in Montreal and film and television production at the Babelsberg Film University. During her studies, she already worked for the Constantin subsidiary MOOVIEwhere she later worked as production manager on productions such as Lauchhammer (ARD/MDR/RBB/arte), Penalty (RTL+) and Mindful killing (Netflix) was in charge.
