The experienced Head of Marketing at Bayerischer Rundfunk succeeds Ludger Lausberg and will continue to expand the company's marketing, services and investments.<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-74b76af4 elementor-widget__width-initial elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"74b76af4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong data-start=\"225\" data-end=\"254\">Munich, 4 November 2025<\/strong> - At the beginning of 2026, Dr Markus Riese will take over the management of BRmedia GmbH, the marketing subsidiary of Bayerischer Rundfunk. He succeeds Ludger Lausberg, who will retire on 31 December 2025 after many years at the helm of the company.<\/p><p data-start=\"511\" data-end=\"978\">Dr Katja Wildermuth, Director General of BR, paid tribute to Lausberg's achievements: \"Ludger Lausberg has decisively shaped BRmedia and successfully led the company with his shareholdings. We thank him sincerely for his work.\" She also welcomed the new Managing Director: \"Dr Markus Riese has extensive experience in marketing and management and knows the issues of BR, ARD and BRmedia very well. We look forward to working with him.\"<\/p><p data-start=\"980\" data-end=\"1400\">Riese is currently Head of Marketing at BR and has more than 15 years of management experience in communications, brand management and strategic management. In his new role, he will drive the further development of BRmedia and expand the central business areas - marketing, services and investments. He will also represent Bavarian interests in ARD advertising and at ARD Media GmbH.<\/p><p data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1696\">At the same time, Daniel Strobel, authorised signatory and Head of Finance, Legal and Human Resources, will assume additional responsibility for BRmedia Service GmbH and the management of BRmedia Personal GmbH.
