The 31st Geneva International Film Festival (GIFF)<\/strong> has ended with a strong signal in favour of innovation, diversity and artistic boldness. For ten days, the audiovisual future was celebrated in Geneva - from feature films and series to immersive experiences and digital trends.<\/p>

Five works were honoured with the coveted Reflet d'Or trophies:<\/strong>
The Colombian-German feature film Un Poeta<\/em> from Sim\u00f3n Mesa Soto<\/strong> won the main prize, Requiem for Selina<\/em> from Emmeline Berglund<\/strong> was the best series, and Reflections of Little Red Dot<\/em> from Chlo\u00e9 Lee<\/strong> was honoured as the best immersive experience. The prize Future Is Sensible<\/strong> went to Ancestors<\/em> from Steye Hallema<\/strong>during the Swiss Series Storytelling Award<\/strong> on The Deal<\/em> from Jean-St\u00e9phane Bron<\/strong> was awarded.<\/p>

In addition to the artistic successes, it was the Geneva Digital Market (GDM)<\/strong> the festival's innovation lab and the most important Swiss industry meeting for audiovisual topics of the future. International experts discussed there about the influence of artificial intelligence on production and creativity<\/strong>legal issues in series development and adapting content to changing platforms. The smartphone as a creative tool and the 20th anniversary of YouTube were also on the programme.<\/p>

With a Audience growth of over 25 %<\/strong> in the conference and VR areas, the GIFF emphasises the growing relevance of hybrid narrative forms and digital innovations. The festival is thus consolidating its role as a important platform between the art of film and the technological future<\/strong>.<\/p>
