The event, which will take place from 27 to 28 January 2026 as part of the <strong data-start=\"449\" data-end=\"475\">Gothenburg Film Festival<\/strong> places an increased focus on the <strong data-start=\"522\" data-end=\"573\">Co-production and international co-operation<\/strong>.<\/p><p data-start=\"578\" data-end=\"1035\">Under the motto <strong data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"632\">\"One Transformation After Another\"<\/strong> TV Drama Vision 2026 highlights topics such as <strong data-start=\"676\" data-end=\"811\">Cross-platform IP development, sustainable production, smarter budgeting, storytelling and target group-orientated approaches<\/strong>. The line-up includes eight Nordic projects from Sweden, Finland, Norway, Iceland and the Faroe Islands as well as seven European projects from Germany, Spain, France, Belgium, Latvia, Ukraine and Poland.<\/p><p data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1288\"><strong data-start=\"1037\" data-end=\"1061\">Nordic highlights<\/strong>: The projects presented include <em data-start=\"1115\" data-end=\"1157\">A Phone Rings in the Middle of the Night<\/em> (SE), <em data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1181\">Dangerous Woman<\/em> (FI) and <em data-start=\"1191\" data-end=\"1204\">Scandinavia<\/em> (SE, NO, DK), which are developed by established producers and writing teams.<\/p><p data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1603\"><strong data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1314\">European projects<\/strong>International co-operations are also in the foreground, including <em data-start=\"1387\" data-end=\"1401\">Belle Epoque<\/em> (BE), <em data-start=\"1408\" data-end=\"1421\">Dark Waters<\/em> (ES) and <em data-start=\"1431\" data-end=\"1440\">The Sea<\/em> (DE, NO, ES). Many projects are created in collaboration with regional film funding organisations and international markets such as Conecta Fiction or Midpoint Institute.<\/p><p data-start=\"1605\" data-end=\"2049\">A special highlight of the event is the visit of <strong data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1684\">James Schamus<\/strong>Oscar-nominated producer and former CEO of Focus Features. Schamus, who has worked on films such as <em data-start=\"1794\" data-end=\"1814\">Brokeback Mountain<\/em>, <em data-start=\"1816\" data-end=\"1837\">Lost in Translation<\/em> and <em data-start=\"1842\" data-end=\"1862\">Dallas Buyers Club<\/em> will talk about his career, creative visions and current developments in the audiovisual industry in a moderated discussion on 28 January.<\/p><p data-start=\"2051\" data-end=\"2412\">TV Drama Vision offers two days <strong data-start=\"2084\" data-end=\"2125\">High-calibre insights and networking<\/strong>The event presents 50 series projects and gathers over 100 speakers on stage.
