This was announced by the company in an official press release. This step is being taken at the company's own request.<\/p><p data-start=\"635\" data-end=\"945\">Hamid took over the management of X Verleih in the year <strong data-start=\"684\" data-end=\"692\">2019<\/strong> and was overall <strong data-start=\"711\" data-end=\"728\">around 14 years<\/strong> for the independent German film distributor. During this time, she was responsible for the strategic direction of the company and oversaw numerous cinema releases of national and international productions.<\/p><p data-start=\"947\" data-end=\"1230\">The Supervisory Board of X Verleih AG thanked Hamid for her many years of service and announced that the <strong data-start=\"1043\" data-end=\"1073\">Search for a successor<\/strong> to have already started. Hamid will continue to fulfil her duties until her departure in May 2026 to ensure an orderly transition.<\/p><p data-start=\"1232\" data-end=\"1394\">X Verleih is one of the established independent distributors on the German cinema market.
