The aim of the collaboration is to research innovative digital production methods and implement them in a practical way - while at the same time giving Film Academy students direct access to modern studio technology.<\/p><p data-start=\"644\" data-end=\"997\">The focus of the cooperation is a joint project: the digital scan of the historical <strong data-start=\"735\" data-end=\"760\">Metropolitan Backlots<\/strong> of Studio Babelsberg. State-of-the-art camera and drone technology will be used to fully capture the area so that the data can be used both for training and for future virtual film productions.<\/p><p data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1389\"><strong data-start=\"999\" data-end=\"1017\">J\u00f6rg Bachmaier<\/strong>CEO of Studio Babelsberg, emphasises that the collaboration provides valuable impetus for practical training and at the same time drives innovation in the studio sector.
