Until then, Sky Deutschland will operate independently.<\/p><p data-start=\"688\" data-end=\"941\">Sky interprets the personnel decision as preparation for the planned merger with RTL Group in Germany. RTL Group has notified the takeover to the European Commission; the preliminary review period runs until 8 April 2026.<\/p><p data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"1331\">Dana Strong, Group CEO of Sky Group, recognised Mills as an experienced leader who had achieved a successful turnaround in Germany under his leadership.
