The filming of the international cinema co-production Gould Lover<\/em> have begun in Munich and the surrounding area. Director and author Andy Sommer<\/strong> realised the film from a screenplay that he wrote together with Gilles Taurand<\/strong>, H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Zimmer<\/strong> and Thom Richardson<\/strong> has written.<\/p>

The production tells the story of the Canadian pianist Glenn Gould<\/strong>embodied by Jack Farthing<\/strong>who was at a turning point in his career in New York in 1968. Gould meets the photographer Eleanor Weismann<\/strong> (Sophie Mousel<\/strong>) and develops an intense relationship, while at the same time withdrawing from public appearances. Other roles include David Kross<\/strong>, Jonathan Zaccai<\/strong>, Rony Herman<\/strong> and Leslie Malton<\/strong>. Camera work is by Sarah Blum<\/strong>.<\/p>

Produced Gould Lover<\/em> from Amour Fou Luxembourg<\/strong> (Bady Minck, Alexander Dumreicher-Ivanceanu) and Amalia Film<\/strong> (Felix von Poser, Michael Lehmann) in co-production with Eddy Cin\u00e9ma<\/strong>, Gretchen film<\/strong>, Pamy Mediaproductions<\/strong>, Magic Media<\/strong> and Chaussee SoundVision<\/strong>. The television participants are ZDF<\/strong> and Arte<\/strong>. The production is supported by Film Fund Luxembourg<\/strong>, DFFF<\/strong>, FFF Bavaria<\/strong>, nordmedia<\/strong> and the CNC France<\/strong> promoted.<\/p>
