The European film and media industry is set to gain a new forum for discussion: on 8 June, \u201eStory Vision Europe\u201c will make its debut at the Wolkenburg in Cologne. The new industry event is organised by the Film- und Medienstiftung NRW<\/span><\/span>the Production alliance<\/span><\/span> and the Film and Media Association of North Rhine-Westphalia<\/span><\/span> is organised and focuses on the future of European audiovisual content.<\/p>

The focus is on the international visibility and competitiveness of European productions, as well as new models for development, financing, distribution and cooperation. Representatives from the worlds of film, TV series production, streaming, politics, funding and the media industry are set to discuss the industry\u2019s key challenges.<\/p>

The key questions to be addressed at the event include, amongst others: How will relevant European stories emerge in the future? Which funding and distribution models will become established in the long term? And how are platforms and new viewing habits changing the production and exploitation of audiovisual content? Furthermore, the role of European media in promoting diversity, public discourse and democratic cohesion will also be discussed.<\/p>

The event will be opened by Michelle M\u00fcntefering<\/span><\/span>, Walid Nakshbandi<\/span><\/span> and the Mayor of Cologne Torsten Burmeister<\/span><\/span>. The programme will include panel discussions, presentations and Q&A sessions featuring numerous international industry representatives.<\/p>

The announced participants include, amongst others, Ingmar Cario<\/span><\/span>, Sidonie Dumas<\/span><\/span>, Johanna Koljonen<\/span><\/span>, Inga Leschek<\/span><\/span>, Sven Lehmann<\/span><\/span> and Katrine Vogelsang<\/span><\/span>.<\/p>

\u201eStory Vision Europe\u201c thus marks the launch of a new forum that focuses on the strategic and economic prospects of the European film and television series industry \u2013 and is also set to further strengthen North Rhine-Westphalia\u2019s position as a media hub.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t
