Plaion Pictures is further expanding its genre offering and is now bringing the well-established Italian horror label \u201eMidnight Factory\u201c to Germany. The new additional channel has been available on Prime Video since 22 May 2026, thereby expanding the existing streaming service with a curated selection of horror and genre films.<\/p>

The channel is specifically aimed at viewers who are interested in dark cinematic worlds, intense horror and unusual genre films. According to the company, the programme line-up includes both modern productions and cult classics of the genre, and is regularly updated with new content.<\/p>

To mark the launch of the paid service (\u20ac6.99 per month), films such as \u201eBambi \u2013 The Reckoning\u201c<\/em> and \u201ePeter Pan\u2019s Neverland Nightmare\u201c<\/em> included in the programme. The line-up is rounded off by well-known classics of the genre such as \u201eHigh Tension\u201c<\/em> and \u201eZombie \u2013 Dawn of the Dead\u201c<\/em>.<\/p>

Plaion Pictures is positioning \u201eMidnight Factory\u201c as a curated label within the Prime Video Channel structure. The aim is to build a clearly defined horror profile and to further establish the brand, which is already well-established in Italy, in the German market. According to Jochen Walter, Managing Director of Plaion Pictures, this is intended to specifically expand the range of horror content on Prime Video and make one of Europe\u2019s best-known horror brands accessible to a wider audience.<\/p>
