She succeeds Leila Hamid, who stepped down as Chair of the Executive Board at the end of May after six years at the helm of the company.<\/p><p data-start=\"243\" data-end=\"529\">Bertin is thus returning to X Verleih, where she has previously held various roles. A graduate of the Atelier Ludwigsburg-Paris at the Film Academy Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, she has many years\u2019 experience in the film industry, including at Majestic, DCM and Studiocanal.<\/p><p data-start=\"531\" data-end=\"888\">The Supervisory Board of X Verleih AG regards this appointment as an important step towards the company\u2019s strategic development in the field of independent film distribution.
