Yvonne Abele is appointed Managing Director of Saxonia Media Filmproduktionsgesellschaft mbH as of 1 February 2024. Sven Sund, who has led the company since 2012, will be appointed Chairman of the Management Board. In her position, Yvonne Abele will focus on the strategic development and expansion of the Red Pony Pictures label. The label was founded in 2020 to bundle the streaming and online activities of Saxonia Media.<\/p>

Sven Sund: \"I am delighted that the shareholders have accepted my proposal to appoint Yvonne Abele as Managing Director. The transformation in which the industry finds itself has also increased the demands on the preparation and realisation of projects in every respect. We will benefit enormously from Yvonne's expertise as a producer of children's and youth series. She has been creatively developing the 'Schloss Einstein' format in a constantly changing media landscape for years with innovative ideas and has managed to keep our premium children's brand up to date on all channels.\"<\/p>

\u00a0Vita Yvonne Abele<\/strong><\/p>

Yvonne Abele has been working for Saxonia Media on and off since 2008. She started her company career as a dramaturge, producer and producer at \"Schloss Einstein\". From 2016 to 2018, she developed and was responsible for comedy formats, web series and cinema projects for various companies, including social media support and content development. These included \"Alles Liebe, Annette\" (100 episodes, Bastei Media) and, as an editor, \"Wishlist\" (season 1, Radio Bremen\/MDR Sputnik) for radio and \"Spotlight\" (season 2, UFA Serial Drama). She also worked as a funding officer for serial formats WEB\/TV at Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg. She returned to Saxonia Media in 2019. For the children's and youth series \"Schloss Einstein\", she initiated the successful crossing \"Auf Gangsterjagd - Schloss Einstein und Die Pfefferk\u00f6rner\". \"2 Minuten\", a short dramedy for the ARD Mediathek, was nominated for the Grimme Award in 2021. The sequel \"2 Minuten 24\/7\" will be released in the ARD Mediathek on 26 January 2024.<\/p>
