When the U.S. refuses to continue providing data from its Space Surveillance System to Europe without giving a reason, successful Freiburg astrophysicist Prof. Judith Bernstein (34) is commissioned by the EU to work with an international team to develop her own S.S. system to ward off dangerous space debris, asteroids or meteroids. Judith and the team work flat out in her Black Forest laboratory to secure European communications, but an unpredictable adversary from the business world wants to take power over their work. (MFG)
