Literary adaptation based on the novel of the same name by Ewald Arenz. Freder's transfer to the upper school is in jeopardy. His grandfather, of all people, is supposed to supervise his cramming for the final exams. During the weeks Frieder will experience everything: Friendship and fear, respect and trust, love and death.
