The shipyard owned by Bogdan Mazur (Andreas Leupold) and his daughter Natalia (Hanna Hilsdorf) is celebrating the pagan Galinder cult with an intoxicating party. When the boat builder Tomasz (Tomasz Bednarek) is found drowned the next morning, Inspector Zofia Kowalska (Karolina Lodyga) suspects an accident. For forensic scientist Viktoria Wex (Claudia Eisinger), who doesn't believe in coincidences, the case seems more complex: Tomasz's wife Jagoda (Julika Jenkins) had an unexplained boating accident months ago. Since then, the kayaker has been in a wheelchair. Viktoria recognises a connection with the cold case and discovers evidence of Tomasz's murder. While the forensic scientist - initially without the help of village policeman Leon (Sebastian Hülk), who is on leave - delves into a covered-up secret with her investigations, the Mazurs fear for the future of their shipyard dynasty.
