Karin takes in a woman (Valery Tscheplanowa) and her supposed son (Oliver Szerkus) who were injured in a storm that raged on the island. Karin's investigative instinct is immediately awakened, as the woman also shows signs of severe abuse. Meanwhile, Rainer Witt is investigating a robbery in which antique dealer Christian Zoschitz (Konrad Singer) was shot. As the storm intensifies, everyone has to barricade themselves in. While Karin and Merle and their guests seek shelter at the Witt house, Rainer is stuck at the crime scene without any support.
