The young policeman Marco is supposed to uncover drug trafficking in the "German Oak" and soon finds himself in a whirlpool of parties, sex and lies under suspicion of having
soon suspected of having committed a brutal murder. Entangled with the criminal case are the
different stories are entangled with the criminal case: Freddie Mercury's escapades, the landlady's worries about the police (§175 StGB), sexual identity at a young age, but also the drug and violence excesses of the Fassbinder clique are only a fraction of the stories that take place in "Der Eiche".
