On March 31, 2025, filming begins for the 25th season of the ZDF early evening series – and 25 years ago, the first scene of the ZDF weekly was shot.
The detectives once again have their hands full: their investigations take them to the fringes of a UFO enthusiast convention, a recording studio, the kitchen of a fine-dining restaurant, and a bowling alley where Mohr's club was actually planning to meet. But things remain turbulent in Rosenheim even outside of the murder investigations: Marie reaches the limits of her patience when a demanding musician moves in with her. Jo enters a sports competition full of confidence – only to quickly realize he won’t get far without cheating. Stadler files a complaint against a driver who gets in his way, only to realize too late that the man is evaluating the police department on behalf of the Ministry of the Interior. Achtziger promises Baumgartner a painting for an exhibition – but then can’t find it. Dimos gets nervous when she finds out her girlfriend is looking for an apartment in Rosenheim. And at the precinct, everyone is puzzled about the young man who suddenly shows up to visit Inspector Beck…
A farewell is also on the horizon: Marisa Burger, who has played police secretary Miriam Stockl since 2002, will leave the series at her own request after filming concludes in fall 2025. Marisa Burger helped make the iconic line "Es gabat a Leich" ("There's been a body") famous in her role as police secretary Miriam Stockl – the warm heart of the precinct, who also doesn’t shy away from a bit of gossip.
