After 30 years, journalist Johanna returns to her old home on the Faroe Islands. As soon as she arrives, she comes across a mysterious murder case in the conflict between whale hunters and
animal protection activists. She gets help from police officer and sandbox friend Bjørg. At the same time the murderer and is suddenly no longer sure which side Bjørg is on.
