Connor MacLeod, an immortal from the Highlands of Scotland who has been alive since the 1500s and now lives in plain sight as the head of a charitable foundation in New York. He was killed back in the day and somehow revived to live a full life with his wife and love Heather, and when approached by Ramirez with talk of his immortal nature and destiny, he refuses to abandon her until her death by natural causes, and never stops missing her even today. Then he looks up Ramirez and learns of their powers and their place as warriors, and their destiny to battle amongst themselves until only one remains. He has lived many lives over the centuries and counted Ramirez as his companion along the journey, as well as fellow immortal Castegir. But the strongest among them Kurgan is out to claim supremacy, and one day found Connor and Ramirez centuries in the past and killed the latter. Connor then bested Kurgan and buried him under tons of rock and told the others he was dead. But now Kurgan has surfaced again and is out for blood. FBI agent Lara suspects Connor when people start turning up dead but he evades her, until she witnesses herself that those like him and Kurgan cannot be killed except by one another. He is found by Castegir and tries to get him to join forces against Kurgan, but Castegir is after power himself and Connor is forced to fight him.
