On a Danube cruise ship on the way to the Black Sea and meet Captain Niko (39) and passenger Else (84). Between ice bombs, Captain's Dinner and the usual tourist attractions of Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava, a tender friendship develops between the two contrasting characters until Else disappears in the Danube Delta.
