His mother was a prostitute and a fortune teller predicted that she would give birth to a devil; the woman becomes pregnant by an unknown client but dies giving birth to a child that the other girls in the brothel name: Judas. Judas is still a child when he kills the man who runs the brothel who tries to rape him. The boy then grows up quickly, the pain hardens him and transforms him into the protector of the place where he was born and raised: he gets rich by selling women. When a young man called Jesus saves Mary Magdalene (his sister but also one of his 'proteges') from being stoned, Judas is captivated, leaves everything and begins to follow that 'healer'.
