A romantic story revolving around a young, brilliant and somewhat arrogant actor who arrives in Italy convinced he should play Giacomo Casanova. Instead, as soon as he arrives at his destination, he realizes that he has misunderstood Giacomo: the role offered to him is meant for Leopardi. But not all bad silver comes: right there he will meet the girl Sylvia, who will help him understand the deep meaning of his poems. The modern comedy will revolve around a love story between their characters, in the presence of the city of Recanati and accompanied by the poetry of Giacomo Leopardi.
