Three couples in their mid to late thirties meet up in what is supposed to be a cosy get-together. No one really wants to meet up again because a previously unresolved conflict had all but dissolved the former clique a long time ago. However, for various reasons, everyone attends the dinner. As soon as Anne (Adina Vetter) and Philipp (Ken Duken), Nesrin (Carol Schuler) and Matze (Jakob Matschenz) arrive with their hosts Caro (Alwara Höfels) and Tarek (Serkan Kaya), it becomes clear that the evening resembles a powder keg: with every course, unspoken issues are brought to the table, conflicts escalate, friendships are questioned, alliances are forged anew and immediately discarded.
A call to an old friend called Mona (Marleen Lohse) is supposed to bring clarity, but only leads to new surprises. The plates and the sparks fly and by dessert at the latest, the question arises: will even one couple survive this evening?
