The eco-thriller Phoenix tells the story of young people from different European countries who, ahead of an economic summit in the French Alps, kidnap the children of the CEOs of the "Four Wastes"—four corporations that cause the most harm to the climate. They retreat into the mountains with their hostages, aiming to force the business leaders to save the climate.
