Ralf Prange has lived in the same apartment his whole life. Here, by his own admission, he is the “poor bastard” who always accepts parcels for everyone from the carefree parcel man Micki (Bozidar Kocevski). But Prange's self-determined but lonely life is turned completely upside down by the appearance of the stunningly pragmatic parcel deliverer Dörte (Katharina Marie Schubert). He is instantly smitten with the ostensibly self-confident woman, but he has some catching up to do when it comes to love and social graces. The shy Prange devises various tactics to get in closer contact with Dörte. Horst Rohde (Olli Dittrich), who lives opposite, keeps a suspicious eye on everything Prange does.
