When celebrated, broke, middle-aged musician Tim Barrie embarks on a shambolic bass clinic tour around Southern Italian music establishments for some extra money, he finds himself stuck with disorganized and idolizing bass-enthusiast Ricardo. Both desperately dreaming of a different life, it takes a week's misadventure to finally discover that sometimes the grass is perfectly green where they already are.
