Kabul, Afghanistan. Conscientious bus driver Abas, a passionate pot smoker and gambler, is determined to maintain law and order in the only place he is responsible for: his bus. His faithful companion, 16-year-old Afshin, helps him ensure that the rules are observed on the bus. However, he gets into trouble because his family owes rent. He becomes a member of a gang that promises him a more lucrative income.
