Die MAVERICK FILM wurde im September 2017 von Sebastian Fehring, Philipp Maron und Tristan Bähre während des gemeinsamen Studiums an der HFF München gegründet und 2021 in einem GmbH umgewandelt. Die Firma setzt ihren Fokus auf die Entwicklung und Herstellung von fiktionalen Filmen und Serien. Unabhängig von Genre und Größe der Projekte, liegt der Schwerpunkt darauf, besondere Geschichten zu erzählen.
