RISE | Visual Effects Studios wurde 2007 von Sven Pannicke, Robert Pinnow, Markus Degen und Florian Gellinger in Berlin gegründet. Der Plan war, sich mit einem kleinen, handverlesenen Team auf deutsche TV- und Spielfilmeffekte zu konzentrieren – doch dieser Plan scheiterte. Heute ist das preisgekrönte Unternehmen mit rund 240 festen Mitarbeitern und 70 Freelancern in Berlin, London, München, Stuttgart und Köln eines der größten VFX-Studios in Mitteleuropa. RISE ist „partner in crime“ für Regisseure wie Tom Tykwer, Guy Ritchie, Gore Verbinski, Studios wie Marvel, Netflix, Sony Pictures, Europacorp und produziert auch immer mehr Animationsfilme. Die Schwesterproduktionsfirma RISE PICTURES entwickelt eigene Inhalte und koproduziert Filme und Serien für ein internationales Publikum. RISE arbeitet sowohl bei Episodenserien als auch bei Fernseh- und Spielfilmen mit, vom frühen Konzept bis zum Mastering, Concept Art und Previs, jeden Tag am Set, bei der Produktion von Effekten und Animationen, als Berater für den Digital Intermediate Prozess. Die Supervisors sind verlässliche, kreative Partner für Regisseure, Produktionsdesigner und Kameraleute – vom ersten bis zum letzten Schritt des Weges.

RISE | Visual Effects Studios was founded in 2007 by Sven Pannicke, Robert Pinnow, Markus Degen and Florian Gellinger in Berlin. The plan was to focus with a small, hand-picked team on German TV and feature film effects – but that plan failed. Today, the award-winning company has roughly 240 permanent staff members in addition to 70 freelance artists in Berlin, London, Munich, Stuttgart and Cologne making it one of the biggest VFX studios in central Europe. RISE has become „partner in crime“ for directors like Tom Tykwer, Guy Ritchie, Gore Verbinski, studios like Marvel, Netflix, Sony Pictures, Europacorp and also produces more and more animated features. Its sister production company RISE PICTURES develops its own original content and co-produces films and series for an international audience. RISE acts as collaborator for episodic series as well as television and feature film, from early concept to mastering, concept art and previs, every day on set, during effects production and animation, as an advisor for the Digital Intermediate process. The supervisors are reliable, creative partners for directors, production designers and directors of photography alike – from the first to the final step of the way.
