Chromosom Film wurde 2006 von Alexander Wadouh mit Sitz in Berlin gegründet. Die Entwicklung und Produktion von nationalen und internationalen Kinofilmen im Bereich Fiktion und Dokumentarfilm mit einer politischen Haltung und Zeitgeist sind der Fokus der Firma. Der große Publikumserfolg von Jan-Ole Gersters OH BOY und der enorme internationale Festivalzuspruch von Noaz Deshes WHITE SHADOW, Gabrielle Bradys ISLAND OF THE HUNGRY GHOSTS, sowie der Kinoerfolg von York-Fabian Raabes BORGA ebnen den Weg für mutige Filme mit einer starken eigenen Stimme und Haltung.
