Film Base Berlin wurde 2006 von Geschäftsführer Mathias Schwerbrock gegründet und produziert Spielfilme für den deutschen und internationalen Markt sowie Auftragsproduktionen in Europa und dem Rest der Welt. Nach der Produktion der Filme Nightsongs und Hamburger Lektionen mit dem renommierten Regisseur Romuald Karmakar war Film Base Berlin Co-Produzent des indischen Bollywood Action-Blockbusters DON 2 mit Shah Rukh Khan und Priyamka Chopra. Film Base Berlin produzierte im Auftrag von Atlantique Films in Paris den europäischen Dreh der TV-Serie The Transporter und 2013 den Berliner Dreh des südkoreanischen Spielfilms The Berlin File für Filmmaker R & K production in Seoul. 2015 hat Film Base Berlin den Berlin-Dreh der Amazon-Serie The Man In The High Castle betreut, 2017 den Berlin-Dreh der BBC-US-TV-Serie Killing Eve. Aktuell entwickelt Film Base Berlin Filme und TV-Serien für den deutschen und internationalen Markt, sowohl Arthouse- und Regieprojekte als auch Mainstream-Projekte für die kommerzielle Verwertung in allen Medien. Der Standort Berlin ist der zentralste in Europa und ermöglicht es, Koproduktionen mit Großbritannien, Belgien, Holland und allen anderen europäischen Ländern, sowie Russland, USA, China, Indien, Iran und anderen zu realisieren. Film Base Berlin ist zu 100 % im Besitz von CEO und Gesellschafter Mathias Schwerbrock, aber sind offen für Investoren und Kapitalbeteiligungen aus der ganzen Welt.
