Partner, expert for entertainment and games financing

With a Masters in Law, Sociology and Political Science and a Munich Film Academy Diploma, Bernie Salinas founded Films in 1980 and produced over 30 national and international films. In 1988 he joined Zurich and London based Media Park AG / Media Equity Associates and in 1991 moved to Bravo Studios SpA in Milan where he was responsible for development and project financing. In 1994 he returned to London to join the European Script Fund Ltd. as Head of Project and Company Monitoring. In 1999 Bernie was recruited by Deutsche Bank AG as Vice President and Head of the Telecommunications, Media and Technology team of experts in the Corporate and Investment Banking division.

Bernie left Deutsche Bank in 2012 with his own media consultancy and joined forces with Markus Vogelbacher in 2014. Bernie has lectured at EAVE, EMAM Rome, the Media Business School / MEGA and many other MEDIA institutions. He is head of studies at the Erich Pommer Institute EPI, lectures regularly at the Weimar Bauhaus University and the Austrian bfi University, works for the Zurich Film Foundation and is a member of the National Film Commission. Bernie is also a member of the European and German film academies.
