As 'Boutique Studios', Black Forest Studios offers a platform for productions of all kinds that are looking for the Black Forest and the surrounding area in the border triangle D/CH/F as a motif, pure studio/indoor productions on a small to medium-sized scale and also require office space and production services. In addition to the current studio space of 1,200 m² - spread over 6 studios - we offer a diverse, creative working environment with the Barn Kitchen, our coffee shop, the associated (show) kitchen and various other 'on-the-lot' locations, storage rooms and 10,000 m² of outdoor space.
Stories with a large proportion of locations involving forests, mountains, waterfalls and lakes, enchanted fantasy landscapes, historical backdrops, castles and palaces, picturesque villages, modern industrial environments ('Bio-Valley'), sports and outdoor, dams and viaducts as well as projects that are strongly seasonally driven (e.g. snow) find fertile ground here.
We also offer our clients a comprehensive production service - from pre-production support with location scouting and obtaining filming permits, through production with support for crew, casting and equipment, to post-production.
