The 2nd VTFF Green Tec Day will take place on 19 February 2024 in the Berlin studios of the PRG Cinegate  at Sophie-Charlotten-Straße 4C, 14059 Berlin.

Films should become greener. More and more filmmakers are taking up the challenge of producing sustainably and climate-neutrally. New technologies for energy production and storage on set, for efficient lighting technologies in the studio and on location, for vehicle and lorry technologies without fossil fuels are needed to contribute to the preservation of an earth worth living on for future generations.

We want to give manufacturers and technology developers the opportunity to present sustainable production technologies.

More content, more exhibitors, more dialogue, more green! 2 studios for 4 panel discussions and 1 trade fair!

In the 75th anniversary year of the VTFF, we are organising the VTFF GREEN TEC DAY - the trade fair and congress event for green filming in Germany. Be there and get a personal impression of developments and challenges for production in the film and television industry!

An exhibition event with the latest developments and prototypes of green technology as well as panel discussions on environmentally friendly innovations and the circular economy by and with Birgit Heidsiek and Philip Gassmann await you in two studios. Admission is free of charge.

We can already announce the following topics:

• 12.00 - 13.00 hrs: Green awakening, grey reality? - An alarm panel Moderation: Philip Gassmann

• 14.00 - 15.00 hrs: High energy security, small footprint on set Moderation: Birgit Heidsiek

• 3.30 - 4.30 pm: Lighting 2.0: From LED to laser Moderation: Birgit Heidsiek

• 16.30 - 18.00 hrs: Virtual production - advantages and possibilities for green shooting Moderation: Philip Gassmann

The event is organised by 10:00 - 20:00 in the Berlin Studios of Cinegate GmbH, Sophie-Charlotten-Str. 4c in 14049 Berlin Charlottenburg at this year's co-operation partner PRG Cinegate GmbH.

From 2.45 pm, a shuttle bus from the Producer Alliance's Line Producer Brunch will be available for the journey to Green Tec Day.
