The Caligari Film- und Fernsehproduktions GmbH was founded in 1986 and is one of the leading independent production companies in Germany. It introduced the sitcom genre to Germany and has produced numerous sitcom series. With THE NIMBOLS, the Caligari Film was the first company in Germany to produce a major CGI series, thereby entering the international animation business. In addition, the Caligari Film which owns the rights to many well-known brands such as "The Little Dragon Coconut", "Letters from Felix", "Knight Rusty" and "Princess Lillifee", is the market leader in this segment with numerous cinema films and over 350 series episodes and has won numerous awards.
