Since its foundation in 1946, the company has produced CCC - Central Cinema Company more than 260 cinema films, while well over 500 films were made in the CCC studios built by Artur Brauner in 1948/49, including major Hollywood productions such as "Dschinghis Khan". Berlin's reputation as a "film city" is largely based on the CCC studios. The CCC Numerous TV films for national and international television channels and successful and award-winning cinema films: "The Good Soldier Schwejk" and "Hitlerjunge Salomon", for example, were awarded the Golden Globe and the films "Bitter Harvest", "Hanussen" and "Hitlerjunge Salomon" were nominated for an Oscar. The Italian/German co-production "The Garden of Finzi Contini" finally won the Oscar for best non-English language film. Countless award-winning productions later, the CCC celebrates its 75th anniversary in 2021.
