Banijay Germany brings two of the Helgoland 513 producers into the group

The entertainment company Banijay Germany in Cologne is continuing to invest in its in-house fiction expertise. The group of independent entertainment companies under the leadership of Marcus Wolter is integrating Dynamic Ally Pictures GmbH, the young Berlin film and series production company of the two Helgoland 513 makers Veronica Priefer and Johannes Kunkel.

The two writers and producers Veronica Priefer and Johannes Kunkel got to know each other through the end-time series "Helgoland 513". Since 2017, they have developed and realised two seasons of the historical RTL+ series "The King of Palma" together exclusively for UFA Fiction, in addition to "Helgoland 513". Johannes Kunkel is the producer of the Netflix comedy "Betonrausch", which made it to number 1 in the German Netflix charts and was produced by UFA.

Together, Veronica Priefer and Johannes Kunkel founded Dynamic Ally Pictures, based in Berlin, in 2023 - designed for the development, packaging and distribution of fictional, predominantly serial TV formats for the German and international market.

Marcus Wolter, CEO and Co-Founder Banijay Germany: "We were impressed by the two founders' flair for stories in tune with the zeitgeist. We are investing in the future of these two creative minds with a hands-on mentality. Welcome to Banijay Germany, Veronica and Johannes."

Veronica Priefer, Managing Director Dynamic Ally Pictures: "We were looking for a partner with an entrepreneurial flair that would inspire our creative vision. We found our ideal partner in Banijay Germany and Marcus Wolter."

Johannes Kunkel, Managing Director Dynamic Ally Picture:"We were immediately fascinated by Banijay Germany's optimism, plausible and exciting overall vision and pragmatic, hands-on way of working. We are really looking forward to getting new projects off the ground with this partner and being a good "dynamic ally" for both creatives and clients."
