Shooting starts for the next new Dresden Tatort - Schwesternliebe (AT), but without Karin Hanczewski in her role as Inspector Karin Gorniak.
Tatort - Schwesternliebe (AT) has been in production since April 2024: the film is directed by Saralisa Volm and written by Viola Schmidt. Both filmmakers are making their debut for the crime series. Emilie Neumeister plays the lead role in the episode. Nina Kunzendorf, who played the role of Chief Inspector Conny Mey in Tatort from Frankfurt from 2011 to 2013, celebrates a Tatort comeback in this film. In the first Dresden Tatort without Karin Gorniak, Leonie Winkler and Peter Michael Schnabel encounter a traumatised and disoriented 16-year-old: she claims that her father has kept her prisoner in a cellar and that her sister is still in his custody. According to MDR, this crime scene is due to be broadcast in 2026 - given the long lead time, we also think an earlier TV date in 2025 is possible.
